Bend exists because of the systems I needed and couldn't find. The same systems I built inside the home service businesses I run today are what we install for other operators now.

Why this company exists.

I'm Stanford, founder of Bend. I'm also an owner-operator. I've started and run multiple home service businesses across roofing, plumbing, valet trash, and HVAC. The systems Bend installs were built inside those companies first.

I built them because I had to. Like a lot of owners, I was answering every phone call, manually following up on every quote, and working Saturdays I shouldn't have been. The business model worked. The operational layer underneath it didn't exist, so I built it.

It worked. The systems are still running across my own portfolio today. Now Bend takes the same playbook (the same workflows, the same automations, the same operational discipline) to other home service operators who shouldn't have to spend two or three years figuring it out alone.

The work that made me successful as an operator was the same work that was keeping the business small. So I built the layer that fixes both.
